3Delight renders solid black

when I'm using 3Delight, if I don't have a light in the scene. It renders a black silhouette of the scene. I don't like that. I had plans with the base render... How do you fix that? It didn't used to do that.

i figured one part out. The headlamp is active in 3Delight renders as well. But when I disable the headlamp... It renders black, like as if its rendering a iray render, but its doing this in 3Delight...
How exactly do I disable that? That's kinda dumb...
I know it seems kinda strange, but for what I'm working on. I need no shadows. No lights...
Without any light, there's nothing to see in the render. 3DL does not automatically load any sort of global illumination, like Iray does, so shutting off the headlamp will kill all the light, if you haven't added any lights to the scene.
If you don't want shadows, add a distant light, then in the properties for the light turn off shadows.
It didnt used to be like that. I guess I'll have to find an older version of Daz... Anyone know where to look for daz 4.7 or 4.8?
The distant light is still a light... I need no lights... I appreciate your suggestion but on this project I'm rendering just the scene, and then converting it into a cartoon with photoshop but the lighting in daz ruins the whole concept.
Are you talking about the Preview Light? I believe Ctrl-L toggles that on and off, but I don't think it renders in 3delight, only in OpenGL.
