Do you need to have the Daz Studio formats installed to use content on Poser?

I plan to be purchasing Poser soon, probably around Christmas time, and would like to start using that instead of Daz because it would make it a lot easier to take content from Poser to Manga Studio and Anime Studio than trying to use Daz exports. I plan to be using mostly Gen 4 stuff (Michael 4, Victoria 4, etc). possibly some Gen 6 stuff as well. Do I have to have Daz formats installed in addition to the Poser formats in order for the content to work? I hope not because if it does I will probably need to get a new computer since my hard drive is getting low on space.

Not for content which comes in native Poser formats.  If there's a Poser installer listed, that's all you need.  If there's only a PoserCF then it requires the DS content plus the DSON Importer for Poser.
