How to set Default Rendering Settings

How do I set my prefered Rendering Settings within the Render Settings 'tab' Progressive Rendering section? 

Using the Parameter Settingswindow and updating the "Default" field value does not set my value as my default......once I restart Studio the defaults are cleared and reset to factory settings.

File> save as "render setting" not work for the purpose?

I do not test nowdays, (because I use saved scene ,, then it usually keep render setting, with Edit > preferende>scene tab> render setting > record when save scene (check on)))

) then can not confirm it,,

but I believe, the render setting is for the purpose.  if it not work well,, set your render setting, then save the scene, and set it as start scene, may help you.

(when you open ds, it load the start scene, which you decide, )  Edit>preference>StartUP  you can set start scene file, which you saved as scene.

and set Edit>preference>Scene >On new  too. (it load the saved scene, when you use File>new. too.
