Postgre SQL CMS error message after install

it's my first time downloading the software so I'm not very experienced with how it works. After i followed all of the prompts for installing the software I got an error message that said it couldn't connect the the PostgreSQL CMS database due to firewall or antivirus block or that the PostgreSQL CMS app did not install correctly but I uninstalled and reinstalled twice and got the same message even after checking my firewall and antivirus to ensure that neither was blocking downloads or installation. I was just wondering if there was something I could do or check to ensure that everything is working and connecting properly.

Which firewall and AV are you uisng?

Did you install PostgreSQL CMS, or just Daz Studio 4.9?

The CMS is a database and database server...as such it needs network connectivity.  Making sure that downloads and installations for Studio/DIM are not going to ensure that your security software isn't blocking Postgre (that's the database server).
