Genesis Gen X installation problem

I get a failed to install message when I let DIM try to install: Genesis Generation X for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)

Any suggestions on what to do next?

First I'd try deleting the zip (which you can do via right-click inside DIM) and redownloading.

Just tried that but get the same problem.  Any other things I can try?  Thanks.

The next thing to do is to check the log - click teh gear icon at top-left to open preferences and there should be a view log button at bottom left.

Log shows this:

Installing product : Genesis Generation X for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Uninstalling product : Genesis Generation X2 for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Product successfully uninstalled : Genesis Generation X2 for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Product successfully installed : Genesis Generation X for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Install Queue finished in 0 min 0.5 sec.

After this Genesis Generation X2 popped up in my available to install area.

Assuming the Gen X2 is the newer version, so installed that - which uninstalled GenX as detailed below:

Installing product : Genesis Generation X2 for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Uninstalling product : Genesis Generation X for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Product successfully uninstalled : Genesis Generation X for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Product successfully installed : Genesis Generation X2 for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)
Install Queue finished in 0 min 0.2 sec.

Should just hide or ignore the Gen X product now?

Yes, I would think so - as far as I know the Gen X 2 is a superset of Gen X.
