Unable to create new categories in DAZ Studio 4.9

When migrating from DAZ studio 4.8 to 4.9 I first exported userdata in 4.8, then imported metadata in 4.9. Half of my custom categories and half of the categorized files however don't show up in 4.9. That really sucks big time!!!

I tried to recreate the missing custom categories by choosing 'create subcategory' from the menu. I then get a little window asking me to type a name for the new subcategory. I do and click ok, but either nothing happens or I get the message 'unable to create container: x'. The only way to create new sub-categories is to duplicate an existing one and then rename it. Not really a workable solution.

Since I have way too much content (and often save changed content) that doesn't show up as smart content and finding stuff I need in the DAZ library folder or productscategory is way too much of a hastle I really need to be able to work with the categories the way I was used to in 4.8. What can I do to make this happen?

    It sounds like there may be database corruption.  I would reset the database and re-import metadata.

    I lost all my custom categories now, but at least I can create new ones again. Thank you!

    I will reinstall 4.8 from a backup en try the export and re-import again.
