Taozen- I just posted in that downloader thread- can you give me the link to the downloader- going through eight pages of updates / wishlist added, I'm not sure what the latest version is, what it includes (in other words the stuff you did before that?) I want to try it immediately but when first directed to the thread a day or so ago, I started reading and got lost. There was a wishlist thing (which I dont have to have but it you've got it finessed, that would be nice too!) but the main thing is the downloader most recent version and any other zip files I have to have to fix any known issues?

Wow, you did a lot of work. Appreciate it very much. Is there a sticky anywhere about this product? People with hundreds of files downloading them one by one need to have a sticky.

That's a big change to make - Paypal could have warned people you'd think. Thanks for the info.

DAZ could have warned people as well, if someone in Sales knew about this policy change. How many people need refunds here all the time, for all sorts of reasons? Not just "I changed my mind, I don't want it after all", but what about "the store charged full price, I want a refund to the sale price". Is that — which is happening all the time in the new store — going to trip Paypal's new policy as well?

If that's so, then DAZ needs to get the word out to EVERYONE, and not next week, not when they get up in the morning, IMMEDIATELY.

I know that Paypal sent out notices about changes, not that long ago...but I like most others probably didn't really pay that close attention to them!

This kind of thing is going to catch a lot more than Daz.

What I want to know, is if I pay for some autoparts, with Paypal...and it includes a core charge, what's going to happen when I return the 'core'?

That kind of thing is going to catch a lot of merchants with their pants down. I think that DAZ is just as much a victim here as anyone...because Paypal's new policies are not exactly 'working in practice' it seems....

I started a new thread as this is a big issue- people need to get a heads up (Britney checked twice and confirmed this was the new policy this afternoon) I would want to know about it and this kinda got buried here as a separate issue. So Paypal has its own thread. UGH, what a mess.

Yeah...and it was just an ice cube floating in the Atlantic that April morning...

It really is not neccesary to have the same thing said in 3 different threads,

This one deals with entire MONTHS dropping off previously without any rhyme or reason, and then leaping ahead to some November going missing- which I determined was a new Paypal policy. It deserves its own thread as that is an entirely separate issue. If you want to bury it that's up to you.
