how do I have Content Sets with DAZ Connect?
I'm in the situation a lot of folks are with having some duplicated content between DAZ Connect and DIM installed content. I think one time I looked at some content tab, and stuff that I knew I had used before was now grayed out, so I started downloading it before I realized I didn't need to do that.
I like having Content Sets because I can work with one very light and basic content set or load absolutely everything. I have been doing this with DIM by having Content Directory Manager have multiple directories. I'd have to do this anyway because I also have a lot of V4->G2->G3 converted poses and I want to keep straight which stuff I've already converted.
But, I'm looking at biting the bullet and going with DAZ Connect for everything that I can rather than have things duplicated as they are now. I figure in the event of a DAZ Disaster (eg. decryption key is lost) I'll just have an archive of the zips I've already downloaded to get most of my stuff back.
But my problem is that as near as I can tell, ALL of the DAZ Connect content is always available and there is no way to effectively do a Content Set that has only a small portion of it. I tried to unselect "DAZ Connect" in CDM, and CDM wouldn't do it, or permit me to create a second DAZ Connect path.
Has anyone else figured out how to effectively do Content Sets in a DAZ Connect world? Am I missing something easy, or does everyone else just load everything all the time?

You could use categories to build different sets, or you could drag content (or right-click on a tree in the Daz Connect virtual folder) to create links as desired in a separate content directory - but the full content would still be there, you'd just be creating a limited filter. You could also use a new group to allow you to filter out all but the basic content in Smart Content (if a category had all of its content filtered out it would disappear from the list too, so this would give the cleanest view).
