This may have been asked before, but I can't find anything in the forums using search.

I want to strip all shaders from an object and replace them with the standard Daz Studio defalut shaders.
I,m running DS 4pro.
I've got an old script called ShaderX, which actually did this job automatically. It worked with the really old version of DS (way back with ver. 1.8) but I can't find an updated version for DS4 and the original one will naturally not function.

Is there a fast way to do this??

Much aprreciate any help.

Apply a shader using the DAZ Default shader, or a Poser mat file. If you want to restore the basic properties you could create a Shader preset from a plain surface (an untextured genesis, or a new primitive), right-click on it in the content pane and make it a custom action, and then it will be available (in the Scripts menu by default) to apply to any surface. Doing this without changing the settings which are in the default shader is harder, however.
