Genesis Generation X2 Issue

I'm trying to use this plugin along with this tutorial, however I cannot drag and drop the V4 base into the GenX panel.

Many of the buttons there are not selectable and greyed out. It looks like this:

Even things like load figure aren't clickable. 

Does anyone know what's wrong and how I could fix it?
