Looking for realistic modern booze bottles for Daz
Hey folks,
I was wondering if anyone had come across some booze bottle models that'll work with Daz. I'm particularly looking for the sort of thing you might have spirits in -- vodka, whiskey, bourbon and so on -- rather than beer or wine bottles. I've seen a couple of bar sets that have the sort of thing I'm looking for, but I'd rather have something standalone than get an entire set on the off chance I can extract a part of it.
I've searched as best I can on here, and there doesn't seem to be anything that looks right (though my search terms may have been off), which leaves RDNA and Renderosity, the latter of which has such a terrible search I can't find anything there at the best of times.
Any help would be much appreciated! :)

These look very good, and I grabbed them myself. I will check if the OBJ has the textures for you.

You will have to texture them with the provded JPEGs I think. I just tried one, but it looks quite well
Does this thread make anyone else thirsty...?
nice set of bottles here http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=26284, although unfortunately only in 3ds, which I don't think DS can read.
Thanks folks, I saw the ones on Renderosity but as pointed out they're in .3ds -- there's been a few times when I've found models in that format, and after researching into it a bit there doesn't seem to be a way to convert them to .obj or similar without having 3ds Max itself.
The free models set look absolutely perfect, I'll have to have a look around on the site and see what else might be found. Texturing with the included images is a bit of a pain but by no means insurmountable, I'm sure if I look into the documentation I can work out a script or whatever to auto-load them with the textures.
Blender can import .3ds files and export them to .obj, and it's free.
3ds,,,easy to convert.
max,,,no conversion without the program.
As to the easiest way to convert 3ds to obj...

It will even give you a right click 'Open' option. You open the 3ds and then export it as an obj. Then you'll need to manually texture it, but the material zones and all are preserved.
Not sure why the first link was removed, but found a couple of potentially useful options via ShareCG:
