Dynamic Hair in DAZ Studio...

I was just wondering if DAZ Studio is ever going to be able to do Dynamic Hair, and why they haven't already? I know most of you probably can't answer that, but I was just curious...

    Optitex has 2 dynamic hairstyles for Daz Studio, based on the dynamic cloth engine.

    Because it doesn't have a physics engine...which is another 'why not?' question.

    Because if it did, there'd be little reason left to upgrade to Carrara. As it stands, between Genesis and all the second party add-ons and support for DS, including the ability to render in Lux and Cycles, I fully expect someone to put up an outboard dynamic hair engine for DS eventually. In the meantime, the upcoming plug ins from allesandro and garibaldi lok to be pretty acceptable substitutes if you're not doing animation.

    There are ways to animate RiCurves...that don't really rely on dynamics, so it's possible that one or both of the hair plugins could fill the void, eventually.

    that's only a hair plugin...
    not dynamic hair.

    where are the physics?
