    Hi R.S.!

It isn't so much bending the leg further, it is the distortion that results from doing this. There are several new pose helpers at Renderosity, by Xameva http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=657881 , that are really great! But I use poser, so if you use DS I would suggest you write them about their products use in that program before your purchase. They are very nice and very helpful!

Baring a pose set, often I rely on allowing the leg to deform, and fixing that in post work. Even with the clothing, I can do good seamless repairs. Very few people do not use some form of post working, but many deny it. There is nothing wrong with using photo shop/ PSP, and other editing programs.

If you need advice just let me know.

[the following assumes you're using DAZ|Studio... if you're using Poser, please ignore this]

You can also turn off "Limits", if that is what the OP is asking...

... on the Parameters tab, at the far right there is an icon which looks like a small triangle and a bunch of horizontal lines. If you click that, you'll find the option to turn off Limits Off (Rotation) (which will allow you to bend legs past the 100degree mark). Or, you can click on the little "cogwheel" to the right of each parameter and select "Parameter Settings...", which will allow you to turn off the limits for just that parameter. Either way, you'll be able to bend the legs to anything you desire (even physically impossible angles).

Note that the body starts to look a bit "bleaugh" when you go too far past the limits, so the product Ariana mentions above will help to smooth things back out again.

ETA: if the pose you have in mind is something similar, then this set by Meipe will probably give you the best looking figure (as each pose has been specially "hand-smoothed" to look right - the downside is that the smoothing is ONLY for that particular pose, and it doesn't look so good when you start to move the limbs where the smoothing has occurred) :

I use DS3, and Xameva's PV4 series in every render. I love the series.

    Hi R.S.
I will do a sample for you using post work, just in case that will be your solution.

belovedalia and M F M, both great advice too! I do often turn off limits, but I honestly do love doing
postwork... so maybe that is why I do so... ;)

    Thanks for the mention.

Here's a quick render I did with Beautiful Bends V4.

The materials are still a work in progress. It was optimized for speed rather than quality.
