Import Daz's Camera FBX into Unreal Engine 4.

What I want to do is take advantage of UE4 amazing particle system and add them to my Daz animations.

I figured out how to import Genesis and its animations but I can do the same with Camera FBX data.

I tried to do it via Matinee but each time I choose the FBX file to import I get no response from software.

Also worth noting the camera is animated by attaching it to a null object which then makes a 360 turn over 2 seconds with 30 FPS.

Did tried again by importing Camera's animation alone by unparenting it from the null and deleting it. Same effect.

Is it not better to create the camera movement in Unreal Engine 4 directly, instead of exporting it from Daz Studio.

I do not use Unreal Engine 4, but Unity 3D and there are a lot of add-ons in their asset store to animate camera.

    Just a thought...

If you attach the camere to a null object and animate it with the null object, shouldn't you be exporting the FBX file of the null object? Just a thought!

Yeah that did turn out like that.

I did managed to export the camera eventually by just putting in parameters but it completely mixes up the Axis's upon arrival in UE4. Adleast that's how it looks when I try doing it through Mitalee.

Im gonna try doing it with Sequencer and see if it's any different.

The reason I want to do this is because I want to tak advantage of UE4 gorgeous particle system.

What I want to do is load assets and camera into UE4.

Make them all transparent on black background.

Render a sequence of particles on a black background.

Render the same sequence in Daz.

Take both renders and layer them together.

Enjoy Daz3D animation with gorgeous UE4 particle effects.
