How do you use GenX2 AddOn for Genesis 2?

Ok, I have it all installed.  Read the manual.  What I want to do is take one of my genesis characters and make a gen 2 character that looks exactly like her.  This is not a user friendly program, at least it isn't friendly for me.  I though this would be able to essentially translate my genesis character into genesis 2.  Can it?
