Monkey Business! [Commercial]

Hi all,

One of the most often requested toon figures has always been a 3D Universe monkey, and we're pleased to share that one is on it's way!

This little guy is the first of several ape figures, and should be hitting our store in the near future. Click through to our site for some behind-the-scenes screen shots of the creative process behind this fellow.

    I do not have any money left right now, but the monkey is simply adorable! I´ll definitely buy this item sometime in the future, when my wallet allows it.

    Totally love this guy!!! Still hoping to get it someday... I have plans for making real hair for him in LAMH and sharing it, i bet he'd look suuuuuuuuuuuuuper cute with REAL fur adding to his already monke-cuteness!!

    Someday someday I gotta get this guy! :D What an adorable trouble maker :P

    We've made a free, redistributable basic bodysuit available for our monkey character. This bodysuit can be used to create anything from spacesuits to T-Shirts.

    Arrrrr!

    I started to populate this with other toons (the crab, etc.) but it got too busy. Thought the original version looked best.

    The original plan was to use Toon Amy. But Rex came up first alphabetically and made me go hmmm...

    Rex is wearing the V4 Buccaneer jacked, shirt and belt. Along with the eye patch and hat. The shaders came from the Supersuit shaders.

    Monkey is wearing the Adventure Hero shirt, the V4 Buccaneer bandana and eye patch. I forget where the sword came from.

    The background is one of the fantasy wall structures, but with the Wood shader on it. The barrels came from the Fantasy Camp I think.

    I do want to say that I've been really impressed with how the clothes fit to the Monkey. Just a minimal amount of fiddling was needed to get the scale and position right.

    I know this is an old thread, but I am wondering if there are clothes available aside from the bodysuit or any plugins to convert clothes for the little guy, c

    We haven't created any other specific clothing for the Monkey figure.

    Ok, I'll try shrinking some clothes to fit him once I buy him. Thank You for the reply.
