Animation problems

I don't know if this has been asked berfore, but how do you keep a morph from moving from it's spot where it's at?  Well like when installing or testing an Aniblock  the morph moves from it's spot, sometimes "popping"  what looks like 5ft away from it's spot making them look awkard. The only time I had  them stay any "animate" is when I create them the first time around, after I save the scene they give me that problem. How do you make the morphs stay put and do the animation?

  • What do you mean by morph? I can't imagine how a morph could move five feet.

Well, I do not use animate. All I can advise is that if you apply a morph to a figure, be sure that you are on the first frame on the timeline, and that there are no other frames created for that figure already.

Generally speaking, create your figure first, then start animating.

  • OK, have you moved the figure in the scene or is it still at the origin? If you did move it, did you use the figure or the hip bone to move?

    I usually use the figure.

  • It's probably that that is confusing AniMate, though the figure is the "correct" node to use to move the model. You could see if moving with the hip works better.
