How to tell the transferred morphs not to respect limits? The user manual says to deselect "Respect" in something called "Value Range" in the "Morph Properties Dialog." I can't find any of those things.

In general, I don't know if GenX ofers another route, click the gear on the property slider and from the emnu select Parametrs Settings, then in the dialogue that opens uncheck Use Limits.
I'm not a DS user. I'm using GenX to transfer morphs to the Genesis figures to use them in Poser. I had already transferred a lot of morphs but I decided to delete them all and start over because I get tired of picking through each one and turning off limits in the parameter settings each time I load the figure, because my method of character creation is to turn every dial in both directions and see what it does. The manual seems to be implying that there is a way to transfer them with limits turned off, it has an instruction for it, just not one that I understand. I know how to turn off the limits for an individual morph, I want to make them automatically load without limits.
If I turn them off with the gear thing, is it permanent? I mean, is it saved to the figure, will it load that way in Poser? If so then it might be worth doing for all 5,000-or-so of them, if there's no other way.
If you double click on the name of the morph in the GenX window, a box called "Controller Details" pops up, which includes a checkbox for Forced Limits. However, if I uncheck this box, it does not stay unchecked, it reverts when I close the window. I do not see an option to save the changes. I have tried closing it in various ways: Hitting "enter," with "close," or with the x, I do not see any other options, but if I open it back up the box is still checked.
Bumping this up to indicate that this is still a question that I'm hoping someone can answer.
To rephrase:
I still cannot find what is being referred to in the user guide. I found a way to open a dialog that looks like it is supposed to be able to turn off the limits (since it explicitly offers that option) but it does not cause any change to occur since it does not save the changes that are made to it. It's possible that I am missing something since I don't really know my way around the interface.
Various things offer the hope that it is possible to transfer morphs without forced limits, but I still have not figured out how. Does anyone know? Thanks.
