Strange error message when load the V4.2

Since yesterday I got  a error message when I try to load my V4.2

I can skip it, but what is going wrong?

  • Which version of DS is this? It looks as if the PowerLoader script is somehow being run twice, or is otherwise adding a Level of Detail twice. Does it happen before or after the PowerLoader dialogue opens (assuming it does)?

It's DAZ 4.8 and it appears after the power loader when the LOD mesh is loaded.

  • Which exact version? Help>About Daz Studio. Not that I recall this happening to others, but the answer may be suggestive.

    4.8.0.59 Pro Edition 64bit

The problem (until now I have not really one ) only exists since yesterday. My content library has crashed and I have reseted the Database.

  • I would suspect the database reset has somehow doubled up fiel references, or found a duplicate, and that that is the root of the issue. Look at the log file immediately after loading Victoria 4, scroll to the very end, scroll back up until you get to the line telling you it is loading Victoria 4, and copy everything from that line down to a post here (or attach as a text file).

Sorry for the late reaction. After your last answer, I have checked the loading presets from V4.2 and there I have found the files, who makes trouble. It seems you have right with the duplicates. Exactly at this files, the pop-up appears. Should I just unselect the double entrys or are they important?

  • Yes, deselect the extras - if you expand the dialogue can you see the full paths, and if so are they identical?
