*FIXED* Download link for DS4.5? DS4.9 not saving start-up preferences since re-installing

I have 2 on going threads for the same issue:

Having found a possible cause for this on an older thread (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/67333/please-can-someone-tell-me-what-are-data-auto-adapted-etc-etc-etc-files) I found that my Poser runtimes had an auto-adapted folder in it which likely started the problem as I installed some DS content accidentally in to the Poser folder when I first started installing Genesis products .... so I moved the folder to where I believe it should be (in the roaming folder for DS) ... I did this before re-launching DS after re-installing it through the IM. Now it won't load in the last scene preferences or the last layout and workspace. ??????????? Since I last set them - back in DS3 days the Set Preferences button has now disappeared - anyone know where to or what I have to do? It also - no surpise cleared the list of recent files but opened a file path as the last used path for a file that was created in DS4.7 - so it it now just doesn't know what it's doing - and testing a file - found just 6 missing textures, 1 PMD file and 1 hair prop only missing - the scene was usable.
Getting ready to give up with DS at the moment and return to Poser after 10 years driven by masses of Poser unreliability or just give up 3D modelling full stop at the moment - DS4.9 is destroying my enthusiasm for the time being which after the thousands I've spent on models, MATs etc is an expensive and depressing situation to be in. Does anyone have a solution or a download link to either 4.0 or 4.5?

Your content folder discussions should eb kept to the original thread - however, the inability to remember the layout between sessions sounds like a crash issue on close - if you open the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log) is DS properly closing? There should be lines between the previous and new session like:
if you have the starting line but not the exited line that would indicate a shut-down issue.
Pass on the log file, it doesn't show those lines anywhere lol and I can't identy when they were entered as the time stamps are ... well ... here's the opening 8 lines and the last entry - all the same scene - the times are correct the scene is that complicated it takes 17 minutes to load/build which is why most of the time my system is on standby not off =>

Apparantly it was 17 days and 17 minutes to load according to that ficitional calendar. The scene I have loaded for this to test is a very complicated 2xV4 and 2xM4 immersed world rather just a room as was created for a comic and requires lots of movement/interaction back and forth. It was loaded after the re-install as a test, it was made when using 4.5 or 4.7 with no Genesis content installed and created on 20th July 2016. It loaded successfully with the faults included and contains models that are failing when using scenes that include Genesis.
Also, I didn't see this as the same issue despite making reference to my other threads, that is why I made a new one. I have found as well in loading that scene - that removes the layout settings as I loaded this scene as a test straight from a test on my other issue, DS was not closed down at this point.
The time format, as I said in your other thread, is a harmless error. The libpng warningis also harmless. However you really should se the starting line (once for each session) - though the tiem stamps will be different of course, search for exited and starting as I don't think either of those occur anywhere else in the log.
It is over-writing the log file each time it is loaded since re-installing it which yourself and mjc1016 have pointed out about the native mappings in the other thread. I've changed the order now to show ...
C:\Users\kev\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library
... as the default but it is still over-writing them so I am re-installing the app again to see if there is an installation log mapping that it is now causing the problem. Will likely run out of time as I start work in an hour and a half so probably will respond tomorrow now.
Right, I've re-installed - from fresh having exported my contents - and it has also fixed the saving workspace issue although there are subtle changes to the tollbars and can't seem to configure them how i had them .... more fighting with it but there is light at the end of the tunnel
ok, apart from the rebuilding of my toolbars ... thanks to Richard Haseltine and MJC1016 all is working, all is fixed on both threads. Many, many, many thanks, have a good Christmas both and I owe you a beer (or crate of).
