Hierarchical Pose Preset for Current Frame?
Hi folks,
I'm working in DAZ Studio with a scene with multiple poses for the same characters.
I want to use the Hierarchical Pose Preset feature to save the positions of the various characters and props so I can reuse them elsewhere on the timeline.
Unlike the Pose Preset feature, the Hierarchical version doesn't seem to have an option for current frame, but instead, defaults to saving the animation data in the timeline?
When this Preset is applied elsewhere it seems to overwrite what's in the timeline from the beginning. Is this the expected behavior?
This is a GREAT feature for DAZ Studio to have! Am I missing something with how to use it properly?
I tried a recommendarion in another thread- clearing the animation data to get just what is on the current frame, but this didn't work. Totally clearing the animation data and then saving the Hierarchical Pose is not an option for this scene because it was built up in frames with the old-school method of using the timeline as aun undo-history for the scene.
I tried limiting the number of frames in the timeline to just the current frame before saving the Hierarchical Pose Preset, but then when I try to apply the preset, still no-go.
Any suggestions?

The hierarchical presets do have less granularity than the non-hierarchical, you could make a feature request for more to be added http://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us
