animation

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

Hello

I am still using DAZStudio 3.1.2
I want to create an animated file which contains several different clips

suppose I create the first animation ex frames 1 - 30
Then I create the second animation, let say : frame 40 - 60

the key frame #40 changes the original key frame #30
In other words the two clips affect each other

What shall I do to create unrelated clips in one file only ?

Thanks in advance

You could probably lock the last frame of the first animation, select every object and subobject and set a key frame. And then do the same thing to the first frame of the second animation. Otherwise, you'll have the object tweening from their last keyframe.

I admit this is a pain in a complicated scene. You might consider doing a Save as (of course that doubles the storage requirements)

    edit: spelling

Maybe saving as an animated pose preset in a personnal library, for all your animated moving object. Like, my poses preset, scene 1 - take one, this is what I do for the moment.
