...The age of Aquarius
OMG, WE"RE ALL GOING TO LIVE, WE"RE ALL GOING TO LIVE!!!!! 0.0
That's good for you, because when my time come HELL is waiting for me.
Sounds very, very appropriate, yes?
No....
The real meaning of Apocalypse is the damnation of something but not what most people think it is,it's the opposite just like you said.
an ancient man said that the meaning of apocalypse is to justify the ignorance of the human being, some call him crazy and others stupid.
what do you think of him?
Hm, I'm not sure...
Say, since we're in a new age of dismantling traditions and scientific advancements like astronomics, I wonder how this will directly affect the idea of Astrology itself.
Does anyone remember that whole "New Astrology" thing when it was stated that everyone's Natal Sign is pushed back one and how in reality there actually thirteen Signs? To experienced Astrologers or those aware of other Astrological practices, this one is called "Sidereal" Astrology, as in, it's based on what's actually there in the astronomical Zodiacal Belt of the Earth's elliptic orbit. This approach is mostly observed in the East. However, to "Tropical" Astrologers here in the West, these matters do not apply because Tropical Astrology fixates itself on the 358 day cycle of Earth orbit as proportioned by the four seasonal points. This is where traditional Hellenistic Astrology comes from.
So, even as we start seeing "New" 13 Sign Astrology books in the New Age sections of our bookstores (assuming this age won't wipe the rest of them out with Kindle), my Fixed Major Trinity (Sun Leo, Moon Taurus, Aquarius ASC) can promise that I'll definitely be keeping it old school. ;)
Yes I remember the mention of the third sign and what it was. Casually mentioned the matter to a neighbour/friend not knowing how seriously she took these matters! Remember the look on her face too lol .... that was precious.
What a fizzer we didn't even get a high tide !!!
Actually, now that we're in the Age of Aquarius, the signs are off by 2 months.
That song used to be associated with the song "Hair" for some reason. I had hair (Long beautiful hair) back in '69. All photos have been thankfully destroyed!
And back then the Hippies had the hair and the rednecks had the crewcuts. My how things have changed! 8-o Now I expect the redneck to jump out'a his truck with shotgun in hand while tossing his head to flick long greasy locks out of his eyes.
And just out of curiosity why does the Mayan calendar relate to the Euro/Asian zodiac?
That song used to be associated with the song "Hair" for some reason.
They were both songs from the Broadway musical "Hair".

Nah, we're never late, party doesn't start 'til we arrive! Huge wall of surprize coming 'one of these days' ... now it could be in a week or so; or 30 years give or take, unless of the Russians [God bless them, they tell us what NASA knows and won't share] are right in which case it's about the year 2015.
Something about chariots and whirlwinds ....
Tornadoes, earthquakes ... and oh this is a good one ... extremely ancient prophecy I read in a paper book years ago, 10,000 new active volcanoes all to go off ... lava land apparently makes the best vineyards [after it's cooled down of course] ... and the chemical lake over in another country apparently bursts into flames ... guess that's the lake of fire talked about ... and ... oh it gets better and better ....
but back to the present, um ... do you dear folk want to know that this 'spiritual enlightenment' includes the animals!
As some may have realized, I'm a special person.
And I have a special dog.
Now, even when sleeping if I have a certain thing happening, she's to do something, like wake me up. It happened once while I was visiting at my mom's and Lexa couldn't wake me up. So she went and got my mother. Fine. My poor mother.
Anyway, the other day I was totally "out" and my dog tried for hours to get me up. My mother, over in her home, blocks away from where I live, was half asleep in her chair when she opened her eyes and realized she was seeing my dog "in her home" with a very concerned look in her eyes. My poor mother. I've got a dog that can travel in the spirit hehehehe .... oh dear.

Highly unlikely. Especially how everything that was supposed to happen this year never occurred, such as the giant solar flares, the magnetic shift, the meteor, etc. NASA debunked and explained each and every one of their apocalyptic effects to either things that naturally occur frequently already (like the flares and shift) or flat-out untrue. And besides, like I've been saying to everyone else all of last year, if all of that as you say is to happen, then all of it suddenly happening all at once is even more unlikely because each occurrence would geologically require quite an excessive amount of time to reach the climax as described. And even if any of that stuff does come to pass, it's ridiculous to assume that environmental sciences won't take counter-measures. And really, anything that is prophesied with poetic descriptions like "chariots" and what-not is all metaphorical...
KJV Luke 22:10 "And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in."
And of course your animals are special. I'm not Sylvia Browne here, but the beautiful thing about primal creatures is that they are far more instinctive and institutional than we evolved humans are. They're more in-tune to nature. That's why they're senses are much stronger, so naturally their more emphatic to the energy of their surroundings. Anything with that formula of consciousness is what psychic and spiritual talents are made from.

? That wasn't a metaphor ... supposedly it was Mark's dad. He had had a previous conversation that his students weren't aware of ... read that somewhere on the 'net ;-)
Plain logic dictates that most of what is/has/will be prophesied won't happen. Simply not physically possible as so much actually contradicts. Can still make for some fun reading though. Look at all the horror, murder, etc movies people love to watch. The markets have had a field day selling all kinds of stuff. Why even NASA built an observatory to watch something that they tell us isn't there. [best report says they'll have 28 minutes notice, which gives us none of course] And some of those news items they tried to debunk, they actually started. Like the discovery of a new planet etc. Even had its picture in the newspaper years ago. Then they realized 'what' and 'poof' went the news. Which is sad actually. If they'd kept an upfront, open and honest policy going, people would trust what they say now better and most of the wacky stuff would never have been produced. By the way, the planet flipping and all that "time frame" isn't over just yet. We'll know for certain by the end of February. We can hope all that bad news is junk, but you know, "just in case" doesn't hurt to be at peace with your neighbors instead of warring for example.
IF 'nothing happens' untoward in 2013, then earth's orbit should remain constant ... and according to discoveries made years ago, will be in a direct strike path of another incoming, think they [major society group of serious people] said it was 13 April 2036 ... something like 50 tonnes of atom/nuclear/whatever going off when it hits. So you know, we take each day as it comes, be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. Think I've died enough times I could draw a roadmap .... heaven is real ... but it's not living on a cloud!
Yes when given the chance to be themselves, many creatures have beautiful talents. Lexa is special ... her first owner wasn't very nice and most certainly did his best to override her intelligence. Took her quite awhile to trust enough here that yes, she can decide and tell us what she wants ... and she's very happy about that. And of all the animals I've known, this is the first one that has done this.
Could tell you about Lupus, but I suspect there might be some skepticism ... so nobody has to tell if they don't want to believe this. Won't change what happened. He was one of those few husky type dogs that can talk. He spoke very clearly a couple of times. Sadly he barely lived 2 years. His first word was a reply to a command "NO" ... and golly gee. What do you do? Be amazed your dog just spoke or enforce the command. The second and last time he spoke, it was a short sentence, a morning greeting upon waking one day. He was beautiful. Had wolf heritage somewhere back in his tree. His paws appeared normal; but not the paw prints. Weirdest thing. After walking through some puddles, we had to pause for sidewalk traffic on a dry place. When he got up from "sit", his front paw prints were "cloven". Every day afterwards in which there were puddles to walk through, I checked, every time, they were there. But his feet looked normal. I dunno. Truth can be stranger than fiction. Beautiful white creature with blue eyes. And his skin had black spots ... so we'd tease he was a dalmatian in hiding. His teeth, well, mom called him Crocodile Mouth.
And the chariot with a whirlwind ... hehehe .... that's what I'm supposed to be going Home in, so pardon if I wish to keep that thought. Thanks. And if I don't, oh well ... I'll go the usual way. Same destination.
Cheers!
Yeah, again, they said all that kind of stuff with the crap that was supposed to occur this month, orbits, nuclear radiation, and all. The only thing we got from the solar flares back in May was just a really hot day and an intensified brightness from the sun. Though, as for your claimed experiences, are you referring to past life recollection or just a lot of near-death experiences?

Yep! now THAT is true! I had a dog myself until May of 2011, her name was Duchess and she KNEW you were talking to her if you were to. Sometimes when my mother or brother (she was more bonded to them) got home from somewhere she would try to jump on them and whimper and howl in what could vaguely be heard as "How are you?". Not only that, but when they played with her and they would pretend to hide her toys on her, they'd ask things like "Mama, where's your raggy bone?" and she would ACTUALLY say in the same howling tone to the effect of "I don't know!" Even my cat, Chloe, will sometimes meow "Nuuu!" when she doesn't want to do something or she'll even meow out my name "Robert!" when I'm out of the house for long periods of time.
Basically, domesticated animals can and sometimes will say human words that are easy for them to articulate (like dogs and cats using words that begin with letters like "M", "N", "R", etc.). Animals observe that is how we humans communicate and sometimes dare to take that on themselves for their convenience in dealing with us.
...the world will not end until the the most unfortunate and cursed of all sports franchises, The Chicago Cubs, are about to win the World Series.
Steve Bartman (not to be confused with Bart Simpson's alter ego "Bartman", though he may have unwittingly channeled the mischievous eight year old cartoon character at that particular moment) didn't realise how much of a hero he was on Monday, October 13th, 2003 (the 13th falling on a Monday is far more portentous than on a Friday as it is also, a "Monday") when he deflected a deep fly ball to the wall hit by Luis Castillo of the Marlins thus interfering with Chicago outfielder Moises Alou being able to make a catch for an out late in a game that the Cubs were leading 3 - 0. The incident was seen as a turning point for the Cubs as when the game resumed, they gave up eight runs (led off by Castillo being walked) to lose the game, thus forcing a the series to a game 7 (which the Cubs also lost 4 - 3).
...only five outs away from ending a fifty eight year curse (see below).
Had Chicago won this game (they were up in the NL championship series 3 games - 2) it would have put them in the "Fall Classic" for the first time in more than a half century (1945). Having won their inter-league series the Yankees (who would have been their opponent in the World Series) earlier that year and knocking out the best team in the Majors (Atlanta) in the previous round of the playoffs they had a better than fair chance to win it all as both Wrigley Field and (the old) Yankee Stadium were known as "hitters parks" and Chicago pitching overall was better than Yankee pitching while hitting wise they were about even.
Ironically in the Chinese Zodiac, the following year (2004) during which they would have reigned as World Series Champions (provided of course, the world didn't end), was the Year of the Goat (Water). The Cubs are also said to be under what is known as the "Curse of the Goat" (see link below) which is said to have started during the 1945 World Series which as mentioned above, was the last time they ever appeared in baseball's World Championship.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse_of_the_Billy_Goat
The last time Chicago won a World Series was against the Detroit Tigers in 1908, also the Year of the Goat (Fire).
Unfortunately since the Mayan's never knew of baseball, this scenario didn't quite fit into their equations and most likely why their calendar didn't correctly predict the ultimate end of the world. That date will never be known in advance as baseball fortunes change from season to season dependent on a host of variables such as the lack of parity and salary caps in the sport, ballpark construction bond measures, player trades, free agency, manager sackings, "juicing", the draft, injuries, ticket prices, game day giveaways, weather, and long running curses.
HA! Loved that one, Kyoto!
Though, I'm not so sure about the Chinese Zodiac with the Goat. From what I initially understood, it was the Sheep.
...this depends on one's interpretation. "Goat" can also be translated to "Ram" or "Sheep". All are correct. Goat of course fits better where sports is concerned (a player who is considered to have been instrumental in losing the game though a mistake or bad move is usually called a "goat").
Of course the qualities remain the same which ever sign is used, several of which aptly describe the beleaguered baseball club's "personality".
To the best of my knowledge, me lives only one life here, that's quite enough. "just a lot" ... let's not trivialize ... being hit by a minivan while standing on a lawn was not fun. There really are "Beings of Light" if anybody is interested. And while I'd love to share of many experiences ... me knows the poofer will come along and zap the thread so let's leave this for now.

Neat :-)
My first dog's name was also Duchess ... English Springer Spaniel ... and she "knew" as soon as I was in the neighbourhood, didn't matter what time the city bus dropped me off.
And yes cats can articulate somewhat too. One black kitten, Panther, late at night, you know how kittens are, scared himself somehow, came running into my room "mommy" "mommy" ... but that's the one and only time he ever articulated.
A rather interesting program was on television many years ago now claimed that 'all' sounds whether made by the animals or by people, were actually a series of growls and such. What was different was the pitch and so forth we give to them. I tested that ... at the time was regularly walking a pair of dogs that belonged to my neighbour. At certain places along the regular path I always gave certain commands. So that day instead of speaking, I growled using the same pitches ... and it worked just the same. [however I don't suggest growling at shepherds ;-) ]
No offence to any Russians here, but given the competitive history that America has with Russia over astronomical sciences, I wouldn't really trust anything from either side that involves a game of "tell everyone everything that the other guy won't". Again, all that stuff is just competitive jabbing, not to mention that, as I keep saying, everyone involved did all of stuff before with the event that's supposed to be going on now. And the fact that some people can see stars and celestial objects clearly at night doesn't really say much. When I say that we would have started "seeing stuff by now" I mean that if the apocalyptic stuff was supposed to actually occur, realistically it would have happened through out the course of the year and have escalated for the worse up to this point (because the 21st was the marked day of inevitable destruction). The only thing we got from the solar flare was merely hot summer-like day; and the polar shift is only subtly altering seasonal climate in certain parts of the world. We're just about to enter 2013 and there is zero sign of anything disastrously occurring. So, if the earth is frying, volcanoes are shooting off and meteors are crashing into us as I write this reply and looking out my window at the nice, quiet, white winter day here in Massachusetts, then the government is definitely doing one hell of a job covering it. :)
As for your near-death experience (which, judging by your response is what it was), I'll gladly continue discussing it with you in PM if you'd feel more comfortable. Though, I don't think the Mods would close a thread over spiritual topic like this. No one's bitterly fighting over it and I'm actually interested in hearing more about it. ;)
