I do love the golden skull that's super cool!
@IceDragonArt
Thank you.
I was messing with skins on the Genesis 8 Male figure. Quite a few worked but I thought these two the most interesting.

I did around 13 in total and rather than do a string of posts I put them together in a PDF which can be downloaded here (it is 20 MB in case you have a slow connection)

"Michael Creech" looks pretty darned awesome!
The latest in the tiger series. I used the LAMH Catalyzer for the fur.

The first "I won't eat you" render looks ever so realistic. Lovely image. Your backdrops are great as always. Good job with the grime-inizer, it is quite convincing.
@Worlds_Edge
Thank you. Here are a few more using my images as the backdrop.

Two more and I think that will do for now. Time to think of something else to render :)

The grim looks very good. And that buffalo looks quite happy with those backgrounds! Love the raptor render!
Here are a couple of images using the Iray Matte feature using a plane.
The first one has the two planes turned off. One for the back of the bench and one for the seat. The background is an HDRI. The second image has the planes turned on and the third the Iray Matte feature turned off to show the planes.

What is the Matte feature?
@IceDragonArt
Go to My Library/Scripts/Utilities/Create Advanced Iray Node Properties. Select the Plane (It is what I used but I suppose it will also work on any primitive) in the Surface Tab and apply the Iray Uber Base and then run the Iray Node script. That adds a new item under Parameters/Display called Enable Iray Matte with an On/Off button and another item called Iray Handle (I have no idea what that is for but it is a text box and I put Shadow in it but didn't see what difference that made :) ). It acts as a Shadow Catcher for items in the scene without Geometry, like in an HDRI, and allows shadows from the figures to be projected onto the HDRI which are vertical to the ground plane or should be above the ground plane, although those horizontal shadows don't show quite as well as the vertical ones. I then moved and resized the planes to fit where I wanted the shadows, that is the fiddly bit :)
I went back to my video and brightened it as I felt the original was too dark.
This was a test to see how the dress worked in an animation. Stopping the thighs poking through was a challenge but I notice some anomalies under the left arm and the necklace disappears into the chest as she breathes at the end :)
Came across Wyvern 2.0 in my Runtime so tried it out with a little bit of DOF thrown in. The background is the HDRI from Easy Environments: Snowy Mountains.

Ah, now that is a most useful tool! So your saying the bench she is sitting on is part of the HDRI? I never would have known!
The Wyvern looks to be holding up pretty well! He looks quite pleased in that last one.
@IceDragonArt
The only geometry in the scene is the horse, figure and the two planes, the rest is the HDRI.
I added the rest of the Snowy Mountains to the Wyvern in this image and changed the pose.

I think he is so neat!!!! Very unique materials.
@Novica
Yes I was surprised how well the skin worked and the hair just set it all off.
Your background image really looks so good with these!
I wasn't happy with the way the wolves came out and I had another look and for some reason the Z and Y scales had been increased which was distorting the poses. I fixed that and did a couple more renders.

Working with mirrors. It was a question asked in the forums about a possible bug which when someone was touching a mirror the reflection was far into the mirror and not touching. This is the image that I ended up with . I didn't do anything to the mirror other than convert it to Iray with the Uber Shader.

Had to stop this at 94% done as it had been sitting at that the best part of two days. I know why. The light is too bright from the eyes and there is too much contrast between the dark and the light areas in the scene. I have noticed this a lot in some scenes.

Dropped the light from the eyes quite a bit, raised the Environment Light slightly and adjusted the Tone Mapping. Quite a difference in render time.
