Once I had two cups of coffee (not decaf) I was laughing at anything and almost everything. I also could not sit still. The house lady gave me some bread to feed the birds. I had so much fun doing that. I got my bagel that was flattened and tore it up in pieces and threw them all over the back yard for the squirrels (and birds)

Sounds like you've found a cure for depression. Non-decaffed coffee FTW!!

I have been drinking coffee every day since the coffee maker got replaced. I think I am feeling better, so Non-decaffed coffee must be working.

I thought "lost his monkey" might be some obscene reference I'm not familiar with, until I found a news item confirming it was an actual monkey.
At least it isn't a chimpanzee named "Bubbles".

...hmm supposed to be 74° today, Sunny out. Sundays are 10$ pitcher day at the neighbourhood brewpub and they make a wonderful hoppy IPA.

    ...sounds like a plan.

    Happy Easter!!!
    April Fools' Day drop.
I realize it's a day early, but it's April 1st for some of you. :)
This was the result of a stupid idea I had to try to see if I could get a fair likeness of my favorite idiot. I wanted to create him as a genesis character just using the morphs I had at hand and to keep the post-work on the character to a minimum.

    Successes:
No postwork on the figure at all, (I added freckles and adjusted the width of the eyebrows on the diffuse map for the face before rendering.)
After about a gazillion slider adjustments, I think I got a fair likeness (well, that is if you think having to look like that is fair.)

    Un-successes:
I don't know how to make my own morphs, so the head isn't wide enough. Although I could make the head larger, I couldn't figure out how to scale it in the y-axis only.
The hair is the closest approximation my money could buy.

I had fun though, and that's why we do this, isn't it?

    ...that is good.

Unfortunately with Genesis there is no independent axis scaling for the head.

    Thanks, KK!
    @Mike:
I'll have to try that when I get the urge to put more work into him (and I will). Where is the "Show hidden morphs" switch located? Thanks!

Anyone find any stupid April Fools jokes worth sharing?

I can get to Google with IE, but in Chrome it is giving me an error message ("this website is not available"). Don't know if that's a prank, but it sure is stupid...

There's a good one in the Daily Mail (physical newspaper version) about a bird sanctuary that have trained some of their Owls to deliver internal mail, a la Hogwarts style. Calling it the Roy-Owl mail service.

It was online earlier, but has been taken down now. http://www.southport.gb.com/southport/front_page_news/MAIL__Who_needs_to_tweet_when_you've_got_the_Roy_owl_Mail_-52165501.htm

The Roy-Owl Mail is a good one. :) Here are two of today's innovations that I particularly like:

I want these Daz3D Reality as 3D glasses LINK REMOVED. Look at a person and it tells you which figure to use and the morphs needed with settings to make a 3D figure of them in DS. Which hair figure or prop, texture sets for it all as well. Clothing with all the proper settings such as V4 or M4 with AutoFit or fit to. Collision and Push modifiers and all. Which Set to use for the Background and even the proper lighting set up.
All savable to the Built in USB drive (Mega bite sizes of 8, 16, 32 and above available) so you just plug and play. For a Small price you can BUY the Brand New Realworld to 3D plugin that will auto set up your saved scene file (animation capabilities coming DAZ Soon).

Coming to a Internet Store that will never be mentioned or working properly if you can find it at a time not discussed.

Promo Images and Link Removed By People NOT even thought to have Access to the Daz3D forums. So do not look at the Admins.
