Someone needs to make a highly detailed WW2 Paratrooper or Soldier uniform, like you would see in Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers, One of our American PAs wanna tackle the challenge.

Does anyone know where i can find a WW2 uniform for M4 or G2M or G3M ive looked everywhere and cant find anythng, Renderosity has lots of german uniforms but hardly any american ones?

You tried Adh3d's store at Rendo? There are a couplt there. Not the most detailed but should be ok for mid - background work. Theres a suprising lack of ally uniforms isnt there?

The best way to start off is to look for iRay texture presets that are correct in the DAZ Store or elsewhere. If not you want make them, it's not as hard as modeling thanks to all the free tilable texture repositories, although those uniforms are sort of old now to have entries in those free textures sites, but maybe someone has done a project before.

Then you want to see what uniform cuts have remained the same as todays and which were the same as common clothing items for the 1940s. eg the 1940s and 1950s vintage clothing in the DAZ Store likely shares the same cuts for some items.
Those (as shown in your reference pics) would be a real challenge to make. All the buttons, flaps, straps, belts, pockets, etc. I can imagine that's why nobody has done it. Well, actually over person over on that other store site did, actually. A vendor named adh3d made all sorts of historical male clothing and did make a regular WW2 GI uniform, a WW2 airborne uniform, and a WW2 USAAF bomber pilot uniform. They all look really awesome but they are for Apollo Max which unfortunately doesn't suit my needs.
Exactly, it would be a challenge to make but it would be really awesome when you rendered it :D
I'd go for any historical military uniform. As pointed out above US Military WW2 and modern not badly catered for. Tannenbaum at Renderosity with his German WW2 for M4 sets a good standard. I like 18th century as more colourful and romantic. We have some Napoleonic for M4 again at Renderosity. There are loads of interesting realistic uniforms to choose from but I'm guessing there is not the market.

I second this emotion. I would love to do some WWII renders with Captain America fighting alongside the Howling Commandos. :) Maybe some Nazi uniforms too for the adversaries.
