Can an attached object be d-formed?

Hello everybody!

I am currently trying to d-form the male genitalia from the Gianni 6 Pro Bundle Pack which includes the genitals. I select the genitals, I click create, click d-form, I go to the parameters, but when I move them around to deform the genitalia nothing happends. The numbers change but nothing happends. It's like it's locked or something? I tried to deform various props too but the same things happends? What am I doing wrong?

As always! Thanx for all the help! Couldn't get anything done with out this forum!

The deformer might not be actually on the genitals. When you have the deformer field selected can you see the red-orange-yellow grid on the gens surface? If not you will need to slide the deformer around until you find it then place/scale it as desired.
