Can an object be broken up into pieces?

I recently downloaded an object for Daz... Some streets! When I load the object it loads into one piece, all the streets are joined together by spaces. Is there anyway to separate them? :/

For a start it would help if you let us know which product it is that you have donwloaded.       What you are showing at the moment looks more like the texture map than the actual props.
