Iray Converter for Genesis - 'oObject'[null] is not an object script error

So I can't say for sure when this started happening, or if it only happens with scene files created before I started using Iray, but I've had this error come up several times that I can remember and the log entry might as well be in Greek for all I understand. 

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Heh. I did a search on the error and got to a discussion that touched on the issue, suggesting the figure be unparented. I tried it and it worked, so I'm passing on the suggestion as the first thing to try if this problem comes up for anyone else.
