DAZ Studio won't install

Today I redownloaded DAZ Studio 64 bit version because Norton Security was blocking the previous download. I had previously had this problem and Norton changed some settings for me. However, after a few days my computer crashed and I had to reinstall Windows. Now it allowed me to download the program, but it hangs up after I click on the permission to make changes button.

What AV have you got installed? Can you turn it off for the install and see if that works?
if not what are the specifications of the computer you are trying to install this software and how big is the installer file?
I had problems back when I tried installing DS 4.0. So I turned off my antivirus software and my firewall - and was able to install without problem. Turned both back on and all works smoothly since then.
After permission, if no nice Daz display appears, it means that the download is corrupt.
Just download again.
Do you know how big the install file is supposed to be? Mine is about 131MB which is much smaller than the Genesis Essentials file.
Thanks
Thanks for replying. First, my install file is about 131MB which seemed a little small. Does that sound in the ballpark?
What is the exact file name...if that's for just the DS exe, that's about right.
135 Mb
Download again, install again. If the file is good, you will see install action...
OK this is what I did. I cleared my internet temproy files in IE explorer. Then I redownloaded the program, no problem. Then I turned off the modem and disabled Norton SONAR. I then tried to run the enstallation and nothing happened when I clicked "run" at the permission screen. Nothing happened. I have a fairly new HP h8-1214 with an AMD FX-6100 six core processor. My graphics card is a Radeon HD 7450 with 1GB memory. I have 10 GB memory in my computer.
I've been trying to download this program. 1.05 MB file when I download the installer. It won't even open and gives me some type of message with the possibility that i's a corrupted file. I Started the download over again, this time it showed the actual computer icon for the installer. Tried it again, same message. I looked up the compatibility, and I can't even use it on the laptop that I have. I have a Windows 6.2. I don't have another computer I'd like to download this awesome program on. Is there a way that you can make this work?
