Layering these textures

I have a face texture and a eye makeup texture (jpg) as seen in the attachment. I've tried a variety of options in the material editor but can't get the one to layer on the face texture. I check "white is invisible" but I got big raccoon circles around the eyes.

Any thoughts, or better option?

If you can get your makeup texture to be on a transparent PNG (no background, rather than white background) you could use the layers mode.

If you are stuck with that white background then you will have to use it as a blender:
1- In the color channel load a MIXER
2- put your skin map in Source 1
3- put the makeup map in the BLENDER
4- use a color or value shader in Source 2

The Blender thing did not work, so I changed the white to transparent via Paint.net, and did it as a multi-layer...but it still does not come through as completely transparent. Here are my settings:

OK, transparent PNG using multiply worked. Thanks for the tips!
