Lipsync; can I tinker post sync? Is there a text file?

Hi all,

Here's the thing. I'm lipsyncing with Daz using the plug in on an old 32 bit version. It works well but the sync animation uses the 'visemes' sliders so the relevent keyframesdon't appear in keymate (of course) so my question is: If I want to alter some of the animation, do I have to do it frame by frame with the sliders or is there a file somewhere that I can edit?

Just curious... And of course, lazy.

Thanks in advance,

G

  • Any slider, as far as I am aware, will appear in keymate - but you do need to find the bone or figure node with the parameter.

    Hi Richard,

As always, you have the answer in a nutshell. Actually it's not in keymate but you prompted me to search elsewhere and the slider values can be found in Graphmate. That's where the answer to my query lies!

    Thanks again,

saving it as an uncompressed duf pose file (animated the actor head morphs etc only ticked ) and editing in notepad should work too.

    Hi The3Ddigit,

That works so thanks for that, it's a useful way of looking at the pose file but way to much information compared to looking at the linear data in graphmate. A useful additional tool though so thanks again.
