Is there a quick way to make a random pile of a single, repeated object?

I'm trying to make a random pile of eggs. Doing it by hand is taking forever. Each egg has to be placed in the scene and positioned by hand. Is there a script or anything that can automate this task?

Send in the clones looks perfect, but I don't have Poser. Only Daz. Pardon my newbness, but I assume it won't work with Daz?
