Has anone ever used Carrara to do sub-surface 3D modeling below ground level. I have a project where a client wants me to spot actual oil wells over an area of several acres and show the depths at which various strata lie in 3D. I see these 3D cut-aways all the time on TV commercials (like Exxon), but can Carrara do this?
Thanks!

A vertical plane with the strata painted on in texture? I dare say just about any 3D program can do it.
