How to transfer UV mapping?

I'm attempting to update the UV mapping of an object.
Steps:
Obj1 has two zones.
Obj2, a copy of Obj1, has two zones, but the zones are remapped.
I want to copy Zone A mapping from Obj1 to Obj2.
I import Obj2, do Load UV Set.. from Obj1, name it something.
New UV ... is unchanged from the original.
I've tried this a bunch of different directions, and it seems to have no effect whatsoever.

I figured out how to do it in UV Mapper, which is great... though I'd still be curious how to do it in Studio. ;)
Actually, I think I still need to figure out how to do it in Studio, because I don't think I can update the geografts I have with UV mapper. hm
Is the object saved as .duf format prop or figure?
It was saved as Figure/prop asset... so DSON?
I mean, I certainly CAN save it as .duf...
Did you check this - after importing a UV-Set you still have to switch it to the new set in surface tab. Select the surface and under "UV Set" property dropdown this may be still on "Default" even after using the "Load UV Set" function I think.
Yes, but the new property is the same as the old property.
When you say remapped you mean the same polygons rearranged on the UV plane, not with changed boundaries between the surfaces?
Oh hells, that's probably it.
I had consolidated 3 zones into 1 for various reasons, which I assume confused it. Duh duh duh.
Ok, thanks, will test.
Ah ha.
So I managed to take the rigged geograft, change the surface groupings to identical to the new UV set version I wanted, and then it accepted Load UV. Woo.
(Also UV Mapper let me fix the weird thing Carrara does when you unwrap, it affects everything.)
Still would be nice to be able to swap UV sets between two different items with overlapping similar geometries, but this is good. ;)
