My son's computer died, graphics card and power supply decided to give up on us, so I am stuck using a P4. I managed to find a Daz 1.3.1 beta version in my acct, would prefer one slightly newer, yet they don't seem to be in my account.
I am willing to give this old beta a try till I can get a new computer, my problem at the moment is that I don't remember what the install path is for such an old version.
Does anyone here remember what the install path is?
Luckily I have been saving all my content to disks the past 10 years so having models to use in the program is not an issue. I figure the Gen3 models will probably work and if not I have the Gen2 models.

I would write to Support if I were you, to see if they can supply a newer version for you.
If it is a P4 you are using, is it Win XP? The main program should be installed into Program Files, and the content can go anywhere you like. It can actualy go into Program Files on XP, but it is a better idea to put it into Documents somewhere, in a DAZ 3D folder with a Content folder inside that.
I wouldn't be surprised if many of the models you have in your library don't work properly. There were a lot of changes from 1.3 to 3.x
Also if you start stirring up your "data" folder with output from a 1.3 version of studio you may get things terminally confused.
However, the 1.3 version would probably work if you use it as a virgin installation and re-install your models from scratch and don't mix your modern content, runtime & data folders into the 1.3 setup.
I believe the default path for an XP system was "c:\program files\studio\content" but that shouldn't matter. Just reinstall the application from the original install file and it should put it where it's supposed to go. Then most DAZ Original content files should also install where they are supposed to go by default.
Thank you both for your reply's. I will contact support as a newer version would be preferable and I will include this computers specs to make sure I can get one that will work properly on it.
I have never installed a program to program files so I would install it to C:\DAZ\Studio which would make the install path for content:
C:\DAZ\Studio\content or you can leave out the daz part if you want as it will make it easer you find for zip files which you will need to manually install
