Is the Wishlist messed up again?

My small wishlist says it has 41 items in it. When I go to the wishlist (yes, I'm logged in), I only see 40 items. I added another, and the page header says there are 42 items, but the page itself only shows 40 items. There is no second page. Seems like we had this problem months ago when the new site was still teething. I thought this was fixed. Here we go again.

Yes we do... I got the same problem, filed a ticket and was told to wait, because they "work on it".

    Two workarounds and a warning:

You can get a complete list by "sharing" your list to your own email. This way you also get some kind of backup if the list should get deleted, which happens occasionally.

You can also move the entire wishlist to the cart and view all items there - including the "invisible" items.

Now the warning: Make sure to NEVER add one of the "invisible" items twice! If you do that then the "copy count" of the item goes up to 2 (or higher) and as a result you can't do the "move to the cart" trick any longer. Doing so will throw an error that you may only purchase one copy, but the item (instead of being moved to the cart) will stick invisible with the "2" count, and there's no way to get rid of it again...

It was added and it states 74 items for me but I cannot find it. Even after a hard refresh. So yeah, still messed up after all.

Thanks (and sorry for talking you into being a host for an invisible lady now)... at least it confirms that the bug affects specific items and not a voodoo of item/account combinations that are unique for each user.

If you want to get rid of her again, you need to do the cart routine - move the list to the cart, then select the "move to wishlist" boxes there and then update the cart.

By the way, this is a nice trick to sort your wishlist. Click/move a subselection first, then another subselection, until the cart is empty.

I think it was the LilianBikini that did it to me, and I may have added it twice. :-S

Hey, you know what? I like the email version better than the website version. The email version is 3 wide instead of a single column. All the products are there. Only one copy of the LilianBikini too. For a wishlist as small as mine, I can probably just clear the whole thing. It's the peeps with 300 items that are fit to be tied...

Same problem for "Eternal Sands" and "Adventure Hero" (that I may have added twice, too :P )

    I'll try your trick Martin_C, thanks ^^

edit : When I've moved my wishlist to cart, I've seen I've actually added "Adventure Hero" 5 times , and I can't empty my wishlist using this trick, there's always 2invisble items...

Yep... that's the problem (and actually another bug).

If you have an item with a count of "3" in the wishlist (invisible or not), and move the wishlist to the cart, then it should place 1 copy in the cart, set the count in the wishlist to "2" and issue the warning. This way you could delete the item in the cart, do it again, etc. etc. until all invisible items are gone.

What it actually does is to place 1 copy to the cart, but leave the counter in the wishlist as it is. As a result you can only move invisible items with a count of "1", but the higher ones get stuck.

Hey, you know what? I like the email version better than the website version.

The email-wishlist has the disadvantage that no prices are shown. I use the wishlist mostly to monitor items for a discount...
