help with converting a obj to cloths

Hi if someone can point me on the right path it would be much apreciated.

I got a Roman armour suiton turbo squid ona bit of a gamble.

i have to change the rotation and move the axis to to get it line up on my base genisis 2 figure.

I then follow the many instructions to transfer utility,I set as a shirt and and when click okay it goes through the motions but  the fbx model is now back where it started  and at the original angle when loaded and now moves with the right leg.

i have the same issue with the object version it goes back to the same size and placement between the genisis model and linked to the two feet.

 

(i am dyslexic so my writing might scan weird) thank you

  • the best way to fit it is to import it as an obj, line it up and scale it to fit your G2M base, add a smoothing modifier with g2m as collision item then hide him clicking the eye icon

    then export it as an obj with not hidden ticked and reimport it

    this will put it in a zero position to autofit.

    yes that workedapart from the arms  i will try to use magnets to move them upto standerd arm position and try saveing as an obj again.

  • i used some deformers on the arms to move them up to the arms and it work ed thanks so much
