Dynamic cloth not working

Hi,
I imported an object (bed/mattress) and then tried to drape it with the dynamic sheet. The sheet goes through the object, catching only on the corners. Why? I can get it to drape over a primitive square, but then the corners are too sharp...

Was that object already set up as a dynamic cloth object by Optitex? If it wasn't, it won't work.

If the object you were draping over had a very low density mesh (if there were no edges running across or down the surface) then the collision algorithm would have had nothing to work with - you could, if the object is uneditable, try placing an invisible cube with fifty or so divisions inside it (adjusting the x, y and z scales to make it fit) and set that as the collision object.

That makes sense - it was a very low polygon model. I'll see if I can edit it and add some beef to it. The cube way works, just the corners are a bit too sharp.
