PROBLEM: Importing OBJ file to Victoria 4 figure - everything is black

I have no problem importing an OBJ file to attach to my Victoria 4 figure in DAZ Studio.  But when it is successfully imported, everything - including hair, figure and attachment - is pure black.  Is there any way to remove the solid blackness and appear normally?  Thanks in advance. :)

    So it's affecting the base figure, not just itself? Usually I would suspect this sort of thing of being the result of bad or inverted normals on the emsh but that shouldn't have a knock-on effect.

    Yep, it appeared that skirt was inverted in the first place.  I used Blender to invert it again, and it works well now.  Thanks.
