What product of lights should I buy, to Renders as for pictures of Promos in DAZ store?

I want to render as http://www.daz3d.com/ HOMEPAGE and http://www.daz3d.com/young-teens-pro-bundle

Just to mention a few examples, I need realism. I use Daz Studio 4.5

I tried Reality 2, but is very slow. And I did not like. I imagine that there is a light product, for use within DAZ.

Someone of you can mention some and not be "Lantios Lights 2".

Thank you.

DAZ uses their own lights when they do their promos so it will be hard to match them.

Reality, well Lux really is the best for realism IMHO but realistic results come from hard work and determination and time. I don't think there are any short cuts that will do it for you.

Learning to use 3Delight is a slow process. The results can be fantastic. I've designed some little helper files that should give you opportunity to understand how 3Delight works.

Light sets by Inane Glory and Dimension Theory will give you good results but it won't be quick.
The young teens come with their own lights you could try using them, but its not just lighting surfce settings are important as well.

They're not manuals, but files that you can pull apart, adapt and play with. I don't know about anyone else, but I learn by disecting other people's stuff... :)

Here's a render that comes close to the look of the Young Teens promo render...not a perfect match, but close.

It's using the UberEnvrionment2, set to Occlusion with SoftShadows, SoftBox preset and quality level 3. There is also a single distant light to provide specularity, because UE2 doesn't provide any specular light. It took around 2 hours to render on my system.

The second picture is a different light, one that I'm working on making available, with the same distant light, still...it rendered in about 10 minutes...

So yes, it's possible to have 'good' looks and faster renders in 3delight...but it's much more than dropping in a ready made light set. That second is after weeks worth of working on that light. Also, it's at a pretty low quality level for the render...the third pic is the same as the second, except the render settings were for a much higher quality level...it took about an hour and a half--to hour 45 mins (don't have the exact time on that one, as it finished when I was away from my machine...and it was done before the 1 hr 45 mark)...

I've tried your file lights, I found very good and. If it looks realistic. Congratulations.

The only thing I did not like was the brightness. You could do all uniform? I'll try, I hope not affect the realism.

Sinanimacion, you can lower the intensity of the back light and the fill light, or eliminate them entirely.

The UberEnvironment I believe I have set at about 50% intensity as well, and that can also be lowered. The light set is designed as a portrait set.

What you could try is eliminating all three spotlights, imput a distance light, and see how that works for you.

As I said, these are designed as a base for you to pull apart, dissect, alter and generally play with.

You'll do a whole lot of test renders before you get results your satisfied with. Expect that.
