V4 / M4 Skeleton in DAZ 4.5

Hey everybody,
I need to create some stills for a client depicting bone deformation on a toddler's skeleton.
So I was wondering if the v4 / m4 skeletons work in DAZ 4.5 and if the "basic child" morph works on the skeleton aswell? Or maybe even the "Genesis Baby" morph?
If anyone has some hands-on experience and could share some info, or maybe even the Daz-Team themselves could confirm compatibility?
Huge thanks in advance!
Cheers :)

The skeletons work, however, AutoFitting to Genesis and then applying the Child morph is pushing things a bit and I would think is going to need a fair bit of tidying up (this is the M3 Skeleton, since the foot position in the Gen 3 figures tends to convert better than for gen 4 figures, but that does need the third generation shapes for Genesis.
"Pushing things a bit", hehe, you made me smile ;)
The pic looks promising and I'd say this seems doable.
So i'd need to get the "V3 and M3 Shapes for Genesis" along with "V3 & M3 Skeletons" and i'd be good to go?
Thanks again for the reply!
Well, the Gen 4 skeletons should convert - it's just that, for some things, starting from a third generation original can give better results.
Hello, I'm kind of new to Daz but I have DAZ Studio 4.5 Pro with the Michael 5 and Victoria 5 Genesis bundle. I recently purchased the Anatomy Starter Bundle which has the male and female skeletons as well as the internal organs. However, I don't see them anywhere within DAZ? I used the new download manager which was EXTREMELY helpful and it says they are installed but I don't see them.
Do I need to purchase the Michael and Victoria 4 models? Or is there a way to get the anatomy stuff to work with the M5 V5 models?
Thanks,
Paul
Do you see other content you have installed with the Install Manager? The skeletons, and the rest of the items, are in Poser format with DAZ Studio materials so they will appear under Poser Formats>My Library>Figures>DAZ Anatomy (where MY library will be replaced by the name of your content directory).
Looks like the install manager might not be ready for prime time.
When I manually ran all the installers, which is a pain, I had to specify the paths as the defaults were all different, YIKES. Some of the anatomy content had paths for Daz 3.
Daz is cool but its content management is a MESS! The Smart Content is next to useless except for Genesis content. I have to use the Content Library on the right side of the screen and dig through a myriad of folders just to find the actors, then dig through different folders to find the materials, etc...
Thanks though for pointing out that the install manager may have been the problem as it was.
I still can't figure out how to get the skeleton to work with the Genisis 5 figures though. The body shapes and muscle maps don't fit and the transparency for the bodies doesn't work :(
Scratch that... I think I kind of have the skeleton fitting, except the feet. The muscle maps still don't fit though :(
What was the install Manager doing wrong? It appears to have installed them correctly for me - you can tell it which folders to use.
What problems are you having with the muscle maps? If you are using them on Genesis are you setting the UV set to the correct figure?
I haven't used the content manager since it failed on me, so I shut it down.
The amazing thing about DAZ Studio, which Poser was never good at, is that it gives the user the freedom to organize files however is needed... so I just use the content libraries. I can save any file anywhere I want and keep things where I think they should be so I can find them... it's sooo nice!
You always find DIM's installed products in the Products section of Content Library. Unfortunately, Anatomy Starter Bundle does not comes with metadata. You will need create it by yourself if you want see their files in Smart Content.
