Updated DAZ Studio and I'm getting this Duplicate Formula error with Genesis, and only with Genesis. It was going on before I installed the new Starter essentials... and still is after...

Is there a fix?

Please post the relative bits of the log. It'll show us where the error is.

But most likely it's expressions, M4/V4 or one of the early big genesis morph packs. The error log will let us know which.

    this is really weird.

I don't think I EVER had anything resembling this:

    WARNING: fileinput\dzassetdaz.cpp(4962): Could not find target property for formula: Genesis:/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs/DAZ 3D/Evolution/PHMDesire.dsf#PHMDesire?value in file : /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs/DAZ 3D/Victoria 5/MCMV5Desire.dsf

I just downloaded and re-installed Genesis evolution head morphs, which I assumed this might be a part of, and it is not. I have no clue where this might have come from, I've never, ever seen a dial that has what must be a desire expression...

Found the issue, Adam! It was in the log: HellFireStudios Head Morph 1... got a duplicate formula!

Deleted, and it works okay... so it was NOT DAZ Studio's new install!

Still interesting about the other stuff... lots of morphs being reffed that I've never had at all...

Desire was, I think, a character - possibly Desiré. You may also get references to morphs you don't have if a set includes fixes to make its morphs work with the others, when present - for example I get warnings related to fixes in some RawArt characters that are meant to make them work smoothly with other RawArt characters that I don't have.

Thanks Richard... interesting, there are literally hundreds of these warnings!

Actually, I think I was wrong - the path is to the Evolution morphs so it probably was from the Evolution Expressions morphs. In this case it's a correction morph in V5, but since you don't have the morph it's correcting there's no link to make (and the correction morph should therefore be permanently zero - it would have otherwise have been the multiple of the V5 shape and the expression morph, like the RawArt morphs I mentioned above)
