Any luck with After Effects export? I am able to export the scene but it is not recognized by After Effects.

    Hi,

Nope, doesn't work. Use FBX export and the FBXtoAE plugin.

    Best wishes,
    Thomas

It can export the Camera and simple planes,. but it's not a full Scene export/import,. ....unlike C4D.

the Carrara to AE plugin hasn't been updated for some time.

If you're using Element3D (videocopilot.net) in AE ,... you may be able to get the OBJ sequence exporter plugin for carrara ( by Fenric),. then import that sequence into Element3D.

    Hi,

This is also an option, but normally you want to export cameras in order to mix 3D (Carrara) and AE. OBJ doesn't export cameras.

    Best wishes,
    Thomas

Thanks all; I have requested a product feature. May be someone is willing to write plugin.
