Optitex Dynamic Cardinal Cloak

Hi All, I just installed the Cardinal Cloak from Optitex and the "No Hood" version works fine but the "With Hood" version loads with the UV Mapping all wrong. I emailed Optitex on his website but I have not heard back yet so I was wondering if anyone else has any ideas. I did look through the surfaces panel and did not see any discrepancies between the two. See below...

It is possible that it has something to do with how studio is handling the geometry switching or the uv swapping. Which version of studio are you using?

    Daz Pro 4.5.1.56

Same here. I've checked mine and get the same thing. I know it didn't use to do that to me so my best guess is that Studio has an issue with some tiny bit of geometry switching code that was fine in older versions.

That's a good point this is not the first installation of Cardinal Cloak for me and although I never used it before, I do not remember it doing this either.

I submitted a help ticket and we will see where it gets us.

    Hi Forumites,

This is Kraig in DAZ 3D Tech support. Unfortunately, I have confirmed that this is a bug in the Cardinal Cloak product. I haven't had a chance to read all the individual posts in this thread, so forgive me if this is not news.

I have reported this as a bug in the Mantis bug tracker. If you have access to the bug tracker (you've created and confirmed a user account), you can see the status of the bug (49004). https://bugs.daz3d.com/view.php?id=49004

Got a reply from Optitex and it seems to be an issue with DAZ Pro upgrade. He refers to it as "not stable" and that the last version he still works with is "DS 4.0.3.19". I guess we will just have to wait and see...

I've just installed DS4.5 and the cloak is totally unusable, it doesn't even fit to V4... Any solution to the problem? (besides the reinstallation of DS4.0, which is an option, actually)

Last I heard, it is on the Daz radar but it will take time to work out the bugs. For some reason I tried it a couple of days ago and it worked fine so I saved a quick little 'messing around' scene, but I went back to it today and the cloak was all screwy again.

The bug #49004 doesn't exist in the Mantis bugtracker, I get an error when trying to look at it. Any news about this issue? The cloak is completely unusable in DS 4.5
