Reflection Environmemt Map (Map in Lat/Long Format)

ok this is a new one on me, I found it in the Gold texture I think came from one of the super suit packs. I can't look at the Shader network because the Shader mixer won't import it from the scene. I also can't find a reference to "Map in Lat/Long Format" in the index of my Renderman Shader language guide,
so does anyone know what it does? and how is it different from I guess normal reflection mapping?

It's how the map was 'projected'. And for DS, latlong is probably the most common map 'format' around...
