Use this DAZ Studio 4 Free Video Tutorial to learn how to create a beautiful scene of a dragon slayer in action. All the content needed for this tutorial is available in the latest release of DAZ Studio 4.0.2.55. We simply want to show you how to quickly get professional results using the Genesis figure and included content.
Was the dragon removed? I don't even have an animal selection. Was it included in a older, I'm assuming Genisis basics? If so what version and where can I get this?

Did you install the Genesis Essentials?
As far as I know the Sub Dragon has been included in every version since DS4..I have never heard of it being withdrawn.
Where did you look for it?
It should be in the Content Libray or Smart Content
Content Library > Daz Studio Formats > My Library > Animals >
Smart Content > Figures >
I do not have a Animals sections.....I just got Nybras that’s supposed to be in Creatures and I dont have that either. I just installed DAZ like 3 days ago.
This is on OSX ML 64bit
Additionally I don't seem to have it at all on my HD, arrows show what I have installed but not showing up.
I did yes, 1.11.
Is it in the Content Library Pane (NOT SMART CONTENT) under Daz Studio Formats > My Library > Animals again I will say not in the Smart Content Pane like you posted a picture of.
But you do have a Figures section in Smart Content is it there?
If not then we need to see if Daz Studio is seeing your content folders correctly.
sub dragon is assets of genesis essential starter kit,,
so it must have meat-data.
He lives in smart content too.
but sub dragon seems change house in smart content tab,, :)
Figures>creature>rand and Air,,, so he may fly still.
you may need to pull down the small triangle of the figure,
it may show you sub category.
and you need , select none in scene tab to call sub dragon from smart content,,
because sub dragon not character preset of genesis or other figure.
some meta-data category has changed.
and before, we have many products of basic contents it comes with daz stuido 4,
now, these product are gathered as one product about genesis essential starter kit.
I was merely pointing out that, from the video its not where its supposed to be and its not showing up BUT where you recommend it is. I just don't understand why it has to be in several places especially for someone who is beginning with this application. Seems rather confusing.

Maybe "Easiest" way to find "SubDragon LE" is:
Switch from "Smart Content" Tab to "Content Library" Tab
Type subdragon into "serach field"
You should see SubDragons Icon now.
Because it seems as if "Files" just can "see" Genesis related Content and nothing else ....
In "Smart Content" Tab you have to switch from Files to Products,
select ALL in left pane
search for "genesis essential starter kit" in right pane
double click on "genesis essential starter kit"
now you should see 2 categories next to "genesis essential starter kit" Icon on top of pane.
click on ALL and you'll see maaaany icons, one of them is SubDragon. ;)
or
click on default ->Figures->creature->either Land or Air -> SUB DRAGON!!!! Wooohoooo!!!
I don't know why, but it's the way DAZ did it. ;)
Maybe they should think about refreshing the Video?!?
