Hair not showing through window?

Hello - I have a scene where I have 2 Genesis 3 females behind the window of a house. The characters have hair but the hair is not showing up from the other side of the window (screen shot attached) The camera inside the house confirms they have hair... and if I pull them forward through the window the hair is there but the hair 'disapears' while they are behind the window... is there something I need to do to have the hair show through the window? Thanks!

    I have this happen a lot, don't know why.
    But the hair will show properly in the render.

    Ditto to what was said. This has been happening to me since day one but it DOES render properly.

    Iray or 3Delight? I think there was a thread on this a while back, but I can't recall details.
