Interiors Corridors by Maclean - problems in Poser 11, maybe due to python

I just got Interiors Corridors and I can't get the poses to work in Poser 11 on a Mac. It's an older product, so maybe there are incompatibilities with python. Or maybe I'm just doing something stupid.

I can load pieces and the lights work, but neither the movement poses nor the mat poses seem to do anything.

    Hi there,

I don't have Poser 11, so I can't say for sure if anything has changed. I just tried everything in Poser 9 (had to install it because I no longer use it), and it all works fine. The only thing I noticed was that I had to load a figure before the poses would work. That was always the case in previous versions, but I thought they'd fixed that. But I just quickly installed P9 and didn't set up all the prefs, so I may have missed an option somewhere.

But one thing is sure. There's no reason for the MATs or poses not to work, even if Python has changed. They're not in any way dependent on Python - just normal pose/MAT files.

Please try with a figure in the scene and see what happens.

  • That's the solution! It's an odd quirk, but I've learned something new about Poser now, so all's good.

I like the set a lot. I was changing things using the material room and moving pieces by hand—I'll like it even more now. :)

Glad you got it working! And I'm glad it wasn't my fault - lol.

Yes, it's much easier using the poses or python because the movements are very precise.
