Help me find a figure

Hi yas.
I need a figure that around pre-teen to early teen, since I need to make a character or two of that age, and I am not using Genesis stuff, mainly just 4th generation stuff so far. I might also need to make a character that's around 9 or 10 as well.
Soooooo, any idea will help.

You could just use K4. That's automatically a pre-teen, and there's a whole host of clothing and accessories for them too. If you want someone a bit older than K4 though, be prepared to fiddle around with morphs and translations. You'll either have to shrink down a figure like Victoria 4 or enlarge the Kids 4. There are morphs available which do both. The problem is that by doing so, many outfits will no longer fit correctly and hair might need to be manually parented to the head, depending on the type.
If you're using Daz 4+, Genesis really is the best bet. If you're using an earlier version or you're a Poser user then K4 is probably your best option.
You may also want to consider the Millennium Kids - Young Teens. They have both the default young teen body and the earlier preteen body, so they should work for what you want to do. There is also a fair amount of clothes available for the girl, Laura.
If you are using Daz Studio and you can upgrade to 4.5, I would suggest using Genesis and Young Teens 5 as your best option. If you are using Poser, you may want to check your installed content. I believe it comes with young teen/preteen characters (Kate 2).
Edit: You can have DS3 and DS4.5 installed at the same time. They install to different folders and use different runtimes, although DS4.5 can use everything in your DS3 library.
Sounds like you're looking for the same age range I work with a lot.
If you're dead set on not touching Genesis, then Luke and Laura are probably your best bet for age 12±1. It's also (barely) possible to morph V4 down to that age range (and M4 is at least as bad), but good luck with finding clothes that work well with the extreme morphs needed.
K4 is adequate for little kids. Emphasis on the "little". I've found nothing prior to Genesis that really works well for ages in the high single digits.
With Genesis, all this becomes much easier. Once you've acquired a decent set of shapes*, morph mixing can give you just about any age you want, with no worries about whether clothes will fit. There's a good reason why I've barely touched my older figures (other than raiding their wardrobes) since Genesis came out. (Sample kid attached)
*Young Teens 5 plus the Basic Child that comes with the Genesis base would be the minimum for your purposes, but in general, more options is better.
Ok, if you're set on K4 there was an easy to use obj conversion that allowed you to mix morphs between gen4 figures. ie: K4 with V4 morphs. I found it about a year ago on either renderosity or sharecg in their free areas. Don't remember who did it or what they called it, but it shouldn't be too hard to find. It was very well done and worked great. May have been even older as I think it was pre-genesis and I haven't used it since genesis came out.
Here's a teen character for V4 by 3D Universe

there's also a bundle with this same character, hair & clothing.
Will probably be my best bet, perhaps.
